Java

Android platform developed by Google has begun a new era, and it’s sad to hear that it has copied most of the java code directly. Oracle has caught Google red handed and asked Google to repay billions for the damage caused by it.

When Android was launched initially, Jonathan Schwartz was the CEO of Sun, who congratulated Google on its launch and also said -

Sun is the first platform software company to commit to a complete developer environment around the platform, as we throw Sun’s NetBeans developers platform for mobile devices behind the effort. We’ve obviously done a ton of work to support developers on all Java based platforms, and we’re pleased to add Google’s Android to the list.

This clearly gives an idea that Java owners supported Google, so what does Oracle say now? U.S. District Judge William Alsup has already spoken against Oracle and annoyed them as well.

He said that the owners of Java have clearly mentioned that they’re happy about Google including Java to their platform that takes their company reputation to the next level.
